Face Painting Experiences

Animal welfare fundraiser

Today Meghan and I painted a cheetah at the simola animal welfare fundraiser. Our model Petro was fantastic. This is an event that is held every year at Simola and each year seems to get bigger and better.
Well done to everyone involved, I hope we made more money this  year year for our little friends!

Knysna street carnival 2008

It was street carnival time again! This time round Maz painted model Kyle Reid as a tiger. He was incredible! As the paint went on he went straight into character. Entertaining the crowds as he growled :) Thanks Kyle you were fantastic!
It was our busiest street carnival to date, we mainly painted butterflies and of course spiderman. One day I am going to come up with a stamp for that face LOL. We were so busy this year that we didn’t get a chance to take photos but thanks to Tania Reid we can show you these and give you a feel of the day.

Red Square

Maz did four bodies for the opening of a Red Square shop at the green achres shopping center in Port Elizabeth, in November 2008 over a period of two days. It was the first time the models had been painted and where extremely brave, as they stood in their undies while Maz went crazy with bronze. One lady got the fright of her life! She was standing outside the shop window looking for something in her handbag, unaware of the amazing art happening behind her (probably thinking the models where dolls until one of the girls moved and smiled at her)Well the rest was history as you can only imagine the fright she got. hehe :)
